Just after his birth in Paris, Romain Galiano’s parents moved the family south to Aix-en Provence. His childhood was spent immersed in art, decoration and music. A self-taught designer and craftsman, Romain Galiano explores and observes, the world and life around him. He works with the space and his materials to design interiors for living in; drawing on the desires of the client, and his experiences to create an elegant universe that is both simple, functional and stylish.
Over the last 10 years, Romain Galiano has created interiors, furniture and sculptures designed, inspired from his travels and nature, using new materials and the new techniques to realise his designs
